THE OFFSPRING – ROCKER AUCTIONS MARATHON SHOES

American rocker DEXTER HOLLAND has auctioned a pair of running shoes he finished the Los Angeles Marathon in for charity. THE OFFSPRING frontman raised $510 (GBP275) for the sneakers which helped him to 7,900th place, with a time of 5:01 hours. He donated the proceeds to the Innocence Project, a non-profit legal organisation, which funds DNA testing in court.
